We are pleased to share a recap of an insightful workshop recently held at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Milan, attended by our Sales Manager, Mr. Harman, and Service Engineer, Dr. Mala Sadik, alongside a distinguished delegation from the Ministry of Health of Iraq.
Hosted by Mr. Roberto Bonacini, Head of Sales for Thermo Fisher Italy, the workshop offered an in-depth exploration of High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Ultra High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC) technologies. The event began with a comprehensive tour of Thermo Fisher’s state-of-the-art analytical instruments lab, where Mr. Sergio Travaini, Application Specialist, demonstrated various HPLC and UHPLC system configurations and discussed techniques for optimizing workflows to enhance both efficiency and analytical precision.
Following the lab tour, Miss Simona Scarpella, Technical Sales Specialist at Thermo Fisher, presented a detailed analysis on the integration of Mass Spectrometry (MS) with chromatographic instrumentation. Her presentation highlighted the intricate differences between LC configurations and the critical role MS plays in amplifying the analytical capabilities of these systems.
This workshop served as a valuable platform for intellectual exchange, providing our team with essential insights into advanced analytical technologies. We look forward to leveraging these learnings to further strengthen our partnership with Thermo Fisher.
